What is suede leather anyway?

Suede is a soft type of leather and is made from the back of the leather. Suede has an open structure and is therefore more vulnerable and durable than smooth leather and stains occur more easily. The name of suede is derived from the French language: Gants de Suède which means Swedish gloves.

Because suede has an open structure, it is advisable to treat your suede leather belt with impregnation spray, this gives your belt a protective layer and you have less chance of stains so that your belt stays beautiful for longer.

Shortening your belt

Our suede belts also have the screw system to easily shorten them in a few steps. Have you lost weight? Then you can take a piece off your belt, but be careful! You cannot add a piece if you gain weight again. If you have any doubts about the right size belt, you can always contact us for advice.
